Its Christmas time, or is it?

This morning on the way to work at 7AMish I drove with the windows down. It was 60 something degrees outside. Later on in the day it was in the 80's. Then I turned on the radio and heard Christmas music and remembered that it was actually December. Christmas songs have lines that say "the weather outside it frightful" and "jack frost nipping at your nose". Now I can relate to Bing Crosby when he sang "I'm dreaming of a white christmas, just like the ones I used to know" because what I know now is that in Tampa Florida, it does not feel like Christmas in December. I want the Christmas I used to know. I would much rather be freezing cold in Cincinnati shoveling snow from the driveway listening to the best Christmas cd mix ever with Jess and Lydia.



Bottom Line - White Christmas is the best Christmas movie of all time.

Are you Sirius?

I'm on an out of town work stint at the moment and have the privilege of driving a Crystlar 300 as a rental car. The first thing I noticed was that the car had Sirius satellite radio. I immediately searched for the Jazz station and found it. Real Jazz #72 was now at high volume at all times I was in the car. Then in the middle of day three all of the sudden it goes out and leaves an 800 number to call to become a subscriber. I'm still ticked now on day five. I even tried to call the number to tell them it was a rental car so they should call the rental car company and have them extend the subscription or troubleshoot why it wasn't working. I got nowhere and gave up after being on hold for ten minutes. I can't find anything even close on regular radio that matches the awesomeness of "Real Jazz 72". I'm putting on my car evaluation form that I am dissatisfied.



Bottom Line - When renting a car, always make sure they have paid their Sirius radio subscription bills before you take the keys.
